यथा यथैव शान्तिः स्यात्कुरूणां मधुसूदन ।
तथा तथैव भाषेथा मा स्म युद्धेन भीषयेः ॥१॥

1. bhīmasena uvāca ,
yathā yathaiva śāntiḥ syātkurūṇāṁ madhusūdana ,
tathā tathaiva bhāṣethā mā sma yuddhena bhīṣayeḥ.

Bhīmasena said: "O Madhusūdana, whatever way peace may be established among the Kurus, speak precisely in that manner, and do not threaten them with war."
