महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-72, verse-21

अप्युदासीनवृत्तिः स्याद्यथा नः कुरुभिः सह ।
वासुदेव तथा कार्यं न कुरूननयः स्पृशेत् ॥२१॥
21. apyudāsīnavṛttiḥ syādyathā naḥ kurubhiḥ saha ,
vāsudeva tathā kāryaṁ na kurūnanayaḥ spṛśet.
21. api udāsīnavṛttiḥ syāt yathā naḥ kurubhiḥ saha
vāsudeva tathā kāryam na kurūn anayaḥ spṛśet
21. O Vasudeva, even if we were to adopt a neutral attitude (udāsīna-vṛtti) towards the Kurus, action should be taken in such a way that no misfortune (anaya) touches the Kurus.
