Bhīṣma said: Drupada made a great effort for all his own people. Then, she (Śikhaṇḍī) attained great skill in writing and other arts, and also in crafts. And indeed, O King of kings, he (Śikhaṇḍī) became a disciple of Droṇa in archery.
