महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-114, verse-4

समर्थेयं जनयितुं चक्रवर्तिनमात्मजम् ।
ब्रूहि शुल्कं द्विजश्रेष्ठ समीक्ष्य विभवं मम ॥४॥
4. samartheyaṁ janayituṁ cakravartinamātmajam ,
brūhi śulkaṁ dvijaśreṣṭha samīkṣya vibhavaṁ mama.
4. samarthā iyam janayitum cakravartinam ātmajam
brūhi śulkam dvijśreṣṭha samīkṣya vibhavam mama
4. This woman is capable of giving birth to a son, an emperor. O best of Brahmins (dvijśreṣṭha), tell me the bride-price, after considering my wealth.
