महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-49, verse-6

स तैर्हयैर्वातजवैर्बृहद्भिः पुत्रो विराटस्य सुवर्णकक्ष्यैः ।
विध्वंसयंस्तद्रथिनामनीकं ततोऽवहत्पाण्डवमाजिमध्ये ॥६॥
6. sa tairhayairvātajavairbṛhadbhiḥ; putro virāṭasya suvarṇakakṣyaiḥ ,
vidhvaṁsayaṁstadrathināmanīkaṁ; tato'vahatpāṇḍavamājimadhye.
6. saḥ taiḥ hayaiḥ vātajavaiḥ bṛhadbhiḥ
putraḥ virāṭasya suvarṇakakṣyaiḥ
vidhvaṃsayan tat rathinām anīkam
tataḥ avahat pāṇḍavam ājimadhye
6. He, the son of Virāṭa (putraḥ virāṭasya), with those mighty, wind-swift horses (vātajavaiḥ bṛhadbhiḥ) having golden harnesses (suvarṇakakṣyaiḥ), then, destroying that army (anīkam) of charioteers (rathinām), carried the Pāṇḍava (pāṇḍavam) into the midst of the battle (ājimadhye).
