Then he, the tormentor of enemies, (Arjuna) pierced his (Karṇa's) arms, thighs, head, forehead, neck, and chariot parts with arrows that were released from the Gāṇḍīva bow and shone like lightning, while he (Karṇa) was standing in battle.
