महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-48, verse-12

उत्सृज्यैतद्रथानीकं गच्छ यत्र सुयोधनः ।
तत्रैव योत्स्ये वैराटे नास्ति युद्धं निरामिषम् ।
तं जित्वा विनिवर्तिष्ये गाः समादाय वै पुनः ॥१२॥
12. utsṛjyaitadrathānīkaṁ gaccha yatra suyodhanaḥ ,
tatraiva yotsye vairāṭe nāsti yuddhaṁ nirāmiṣam ,
taṁ jitvā vinivartiṣye gāḥ samādāya vai punaḥ.

suyodhanaḥ tatra eva yotsye vairāṭe
na asti yuddham nirāmiṣam tam jitvā

12. Abandon this chariot army and go to where Suyodhana is, O son of Virāṭa. There alone I will fight, for there is no battle without a true objective. Having conquered him, I will surely return, bringing the cows back again.
