महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-85, verse-8

महानदी च तत्रैव तथा गयशिरोऽनघ ।
यत्रासौ कीर्त्यते विप्रैरक्षय्यकरणो वटः ।
यत्र दत्तं पितृभ्योऽन्नमक्षय्यं भवति प्रभो ॥८॥
8. mahānadī ca tatraiva tathā gayaśiro'nagha ,
yatrāsau kīrtyate viprairakṣayyakaraṇo vaṭaḥ ,
yatra dattaṁ pitṛbhyo'nnamakṣayyaṁ bhavati prabho.
8. mahānadī ca tatra eva tathā gayaśiraḥ
anagha yatra asau kīrtyate vipraiḥ
akṣayyakaraṇaḥ vaṭaḥ yatra dattam
pitṛbhyaḥ annam akṣayyam bhavati prabho
8. O faultless one, the great river and Gayaśira are also there. It is where that imperishable (akṣayya) banyan tree, which grants everlasting results, is praised by Brahmins. O lord, there, food offered to the ancestors becomes imperishable (akṣayya).
