महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-85, verse-11

पाञ्चालेषु च कौरव्य कथयन्त्युत्पलावतम् ।
विश्वामित्रोऽयजद्यत्र शक्रेण सह कौशिकः ।
यत्रानुवंशं भगवाञ्जामदग्न्यस्तथा जगौ ॥११॥
11. pāñcāleṣu ca kauravya kathayantyutpalāvatam ,
viśvāmitro'yajadyatra śakreṇa saha kauśikaḥ ,
yatrānuvaṁśaṁ bhagavāñjāmadagnyastathā jagau.

śakreṇa saha kauśikaḥ yatra anuvamśam

11. O Kuru descendant, in the Pañcāla country, they speak of Utpalāvatam, a place where Viśvāmitra, the descendant of Kuśika, performed sacrifices along with Śakra (Indra), and where the revered Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma) also recited the lineage.
