पूर्वं प्राचीं दिशं राजन्राजर्षिगणसेविताम् ।
रम्यां ते कीर्तयिष्यामि युधिष्ठिर यथास्मृति ॥३॥

3. pūrvaṁ prācīṁ diśaṁ rājanrājarṣigaṇasevitām ,
ramyāṁ te kīrtayiṣyāmi yudhiṣṭhira yathāsmṛti.

3. O King, Yudhiṣṭhira, I will now describe to you, as I remember it, the beautiful eastern direction (diś) which is frequented by hosts of royal sages (rājarṣi).

3. ראשית, הו מלך, אספר לך, הו יוּדְהִישְׁתְהִירַה, כפי שאני זוכר, על הכיוון המזרחי הנעים, שביקרו בו קהלי מלכים חוזים.
