महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-74, verse-7

तं तु दृष्ट्वा तथायुक्तं दमयन्ती नलं तदा ।
तीव्रशोकसमाविष्टा बभूव वरवर्णिनी ॥७॥
7. taṁ tu dṛṣṭvā tathāyuktaṁ damayantī nalaṁ tadā ,
tīvraśokasamāviṣṭā babhūva varavarṇinī.

tadā tīvraśokasamāviṣṭā babhūva varavarṇinī
7. But Damayantī, the beautiful lady, seeing Nala in such a condition at that time, became overcome by intense sorrow.
