महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-74, verse-15

अतीव कृष्णताराभ्यां रक्तान्ताभ्यां जलं तु तत् ।
परिस्रवन्नलो दृष्ट्वा शोकार्त इदमब्रवीत् ॥१५॥
15. atīva kṛṣṇatārābhyāṁ raktāntābhyāṁ jalaṁ tu tat ,
parisravannalo dṛṣṭvā śokārta idamabravīt.

parisravan nalaḥ dṛṣṭvā śokārtaḥ idam abravīt
15. But Nala, seeing that water (tears) flowing from her exceedingly black-pupiled and red-cornered eyes, himself weeping, distressed by grief, spoke these words.
