महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-74, verse-16

मम राज्यं प्रनष्टं यन्नाहं तत्कृतवान्स्वयम् ।
कलिना तत्कृतं भीरु यच्च त्वामहमत्यजम् ॥१६॥
16. mama rājyaṁ pranaṣṭaṁ yannāhaṁ tatkṛtavānsvayam ,
kalinā tatkṛtaṁ bhīru yacca tvāmahamatyajam.
16. mama rājyam pranaṣṭam yat na aham tat kṛtavān svayam
kalinā tat kṛtam bhīru yat ca tvām aham atyajam
16. My kingdom was ruined, but I myself did not cause its ruin. Oh timid one, that ruin was brought about by (the personification of the age of strife) Kali, as was the act of my abandoning you.
