महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-279, verse-16

दत्त्वा त्वश्वपतिः कन्यां यथार्हं च परिच्छदम् ।
ययौ स्वमेव भवनं युक्तः परमया मुदा ॥१६॥
16. dattvā tvaśvapatiḥ kanyāṁ yathārhaṁ ca paricchadam ,
yayau svameva bhavanaṁ yuktaḥ paramayā mudā.
16. dattvā tu aśvapatiḥ kanyām yathārham ca paricchadam
yayau svam eva bhavanam yuktaḥ paramayā mudā
16. But Aśvapati, having given his daughter and a suitable dowry (paricchada), departed to his own palace (bhavana), filled with supreme joy.
