महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-191, verse-23

तस्मात्कल्याणवृत्तः स्यादत्यन्ताय नरो भुवि ।
विहाय वृत्तं पापिष्ठं धर्ममेवाभिसंश्रयेत् ॥२३॥
23. tasmātkalyāṇavṛttaḥ syādatyantāya naro bhuvi ,
vihāya vṛttaṁ pāpiṣṭhaṁ dharmamevābhisaṁśrayet.
23. tasmāt kalyāṇavṛttaḥ syāt atyantāya naraḥ bhuvi
vihāya vṛttaṃ pāpiṣṭhaṃ dharmam eva abhisaṃśrayet
23. Therefore, a person on Earth should always be of virtuous conduct for permanent benefit. Abandoning the most sinful behavior, he should indeed take refuge in (dharma) righteous action.
