महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-191, verse-14

स नोऽब्रवीदस्ति खल्विहैव सरस्यकूपारो नाम कच्छपः प्रतिवसति ।
स मत्तश्चिरजाततर इति ।
स यदि कथंचिदभिजानीयादिमं राजानं तमकूपारं पृच्छाम इति ॥१४॥
14. sa no'bravīdasti khalvihaiva sarasyakūpāro nāma kacchapaḥ prativasati ,
sa mattaścirajātatara iti ,
sa yadi kathaṁcidabhijānīyādimaṁ rājānaṁ tamakūpāraṁ pṛcchāma iti.
14. saḥ naḥ abravīt asti khalu iha eva sarasi
akūpāraḥ nāma kacchapaḥ prativasati saḥ mattaḥ
cirajātataraḥ iti saḥ yadi kathaṃcit abhijānīyāt
imaṃ rājānaṃ taṃ akūpāraṃ pṛcchāma iti
14. He told us, "Indeed, a tortoise named Akūpāra lives right here in the lake. He is much older than me. If he somehow recognizes this king, we will ask Akūpāra."
