6. evaṁ krameṇa sarvāṁstānāśramāndānavāstadā ,

dānavāḥ tadā niśāyām paridhāvanti mattāḥ

Thus, in this manner, those Dānavas, the Kāleyas, afflicted by time (kāla), would then roam about at night through all those hermitages (āśrama), intoxicated by the strength of their arms, killing many groups of Brahmins (dvija).
