महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-8, verse-5

राजर्षीणां पुराणानामनुयातु गतिं नृपः ।
राजर्षीणां हि सर्वेषामन्ते वनमुपाश्रयः ॥५॥
5. rājarṣīṇāṁ purāṇānāmanuyātu gatiṁ nṛpaḥ ,
rājarṣīṇāṁ hi sarveṣāmante vanamupāśrayaḥ.
5. rājarṣīṇām purāṇānām anuyātu gatim nṛpaḥ
rājarṣīṇām hi sarveṣām ante vanam upāśrayaḥ
5. nṛpaḥ purāṇānām rājarṣīṇām gatim anuyātu hi
sarveṣām rājarṣīṇām ante vanam upāśrayaḥ
5. Let the king follow the path of the ancient royal sages (rājarṣis). For indeed, for all royal sages, the forest is the ultimate refuge (upāśraya).
