महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-38, verse-7

इत्युक्त्वान्तर्हितो विप्रस्ततोऽहं विस्मिताभवम् ।
न च सर्वास्ववस्थासु स्मृतिर्मे विप्रणश्यति ॥७॥
7. ityuktvāntarhito viprastato'haṁ vismitābhavam ,
na ca sarvāsvavasthāsu smṛtirme vipraṇaśyati.
7. iti uktvā antarhitaḥ vipraḥ tataḥ aham vismitā
abhavam na ca sarvāsu avasthāsu smṛtiḥ me vipraṇaśyati
7. iti uktvā vipraḥ antarhitaḥ tataḥ aham vismitā
abhavam ca me smṛtiḥ sarvāsu avasthāsu na vipraṇaśyati
7. Having said this, the brahmin disappeared. Then I was astonished. And my memory does not diminish in any situation.
