महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-38, verse-5

ततः शापभयाद्विप्रमवोचं पुनरेव तम् ।
एवमस्त्विति च प्राह पुनरेव स मां द्विजः ॥५॥
5. tataḥ śāpabhayādvipramavocaṁ punareva tam ,
evamastviti ca prāha punareva sa māṁ dvijaḥ.

evam astu iti ca prāha punaḥ eva saḥ mām dvijaḥ
5. tataḥ śāpabhayāt aham tam vipram punaḥ eva avocam

5. Then, out of fear of a curse, I spoke to that brahmin again. And that brahmin, in turn, said to me, 'So be it.'
