महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-38, verse-21

सन्ति देवनिकायाश्च संकल्पाज्जनयन्ति ये ।
वाचा दृष्ट्या तथा स्पर्शात्संघर्षेणेति पञ्चधा ॥२१॥
21. santi devanikāyāśca saṁkalpājjanayanti ye ,
vācā dṛṣṭyā tathā sparśātsaṁgharṣeṇeti pañcadhā.
21. santi devanikāyāḥ ca saṅkalpāt janayanti ye vācā
dṛṣṭyā tathā sparśāt saṅgharṣeṇa iti pañcadhā
21. ye saṅkalpāt janayanti devanikāyāḥ ca santi vācā dṛṣṭyā
tathā sparśāt saṅgharṣeṇa iti pañcadhā (bhavanti)
21. There are indeed groups of gods who generate (offspring) through sheer resolve (saṅkalpa). This occurs in five ways: by speech, by sight, also by touch, and by embrace.
