महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-26, verse-10

तथा शैलालयो राजा भगदत्तपितामहः ।
तपोबलेनैव नृपो महेन्द्रसदनं गतः ॥१०॥
10. tathā śailālayo rājā bhagadattapitāmahaḥ ,
tapobalenaiva nṛpo mahendrasadanaṁ gataḥ.

10. Similarly, the mountain-dwelling king, the grandfather of Bhagadatta, also went to Mahendra's (Indra's) abode by the very power of his asceticism (tapas).
