महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-13, verse-9

अहं हि नाम सर्वेषां तेषां दुर्द्यूतदेविनाम् ।
पुत्राणां दातुमिच्छामि प्रेत्यभावानुगं वसु ।
सर्वप्रकृतिसांनिध्यं कारयित्वा स्ववेश्मनि ॥९॥
9. ahaṁ hi nāma sarveṣāṁ teṣāṁ durdyūtadevinām ,
putrāṇāṁ dātumicchāmi pretyabhāvānugaṁ vasu ,
sarvaprakṛtisāṁnidhyaṁ kārayitvā svaveśmani.

9. Indeed, I wish to give to all those sons of mine who played that terrible game of dice, wealth that will follow them after death, after having assembled all the citizens and attendants in my own house.
