युधिष्ठिरस्यानुमते गन्तास्मि नचिराद्वनम् ॥८॥

8. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
gāndhāryahamanujñātaḥ svayaṁ pitrā mahātmanā ,
yudhiṣṭhirasyānumate gantāsmi nacirādvanam.

Dhṛtarāṣṭra said, "Gandhari, I have been given permission by the great-souled father himself, and with Yudhiṣṭhira's consent, I shall soon go to the forest."
