महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-68, verse-16

श्रुत्वा स तस्या विपुलं विलापं पुरुषर्षभः ।
उपस्पृश्य ततः कृष्णो ब्रह्मास्त्रं संजहार तत् ॥१६॥
16. śrutvā sa tasyā vipulaṁ vilāpaṁ puruṣarṣabhaḥ ,
upaspṛśya tataḥ kṛṣṇo brahmāstraṁ saṁjahāra tat.

16. Having heard her extensive lamentation, Krishna, the best among men (puruṣarṣabha), then performed the ritual ablution (upaspṛśya) and withdrew that Brahmāstra.
