महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-29, verse-3

स कदाचित्समुद्रान्ते विचरन्बलदर्पितः ।
अवाकिरच्छरशतैः समुद्रमिति नः श्रुतम् ॥३॥
3. sa kadācitsamudrānte vicaranbaladarpitaḥ ,
avākiraccharaśataiḥ samudramiti naḥ śrutam.

avākirat śaraśataiḥ samudram iti naḥ śrutam
3. saḥ baladarpitaḥ kadācit samudrānte vicaran

3. Once, while he (Kārtavīryārjuna) was wandering by the ocean, proud of his immense strength, he showered the ocean with hundreds of arrows. This is how it has been narrated to us.
