महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-29, verse-14

ततस्तु क्षत्रियाः केचिज्जमदग्निं निहत्य च ।
विविशुर्गिरिदुर्गाणि मृगाः सिंहार्दिता इव ॥१४॥
14. tatastu kṣatriyāḥ kecijjamadagniṁ nihatya ca ,
viviśurgiridurgāṇi mṛgāḥ siṁhārditā iva.
14. tataḥ tu kṣatriyāḥ kecit jamadagnim nihatya
ca viviśuḥ giridurgāṇi mṛgāḥ siṃhārditāḥ iva
14. tataḥ tu kecit kṣatriyāḥ jamadagnim nihatya
ca siṃhārditāḥ mṛgāḥ iva giridurgāṇi viviśuḥ
14. Then some kshatriyas, having killed Jamadagni, entered mountain strongholds, just like deer harassed by lions.
