सर्वथा यत्पशून्पाति तैश्च यद्रमते पुनः ।
तेषामधिपतिर्यच्च तस्मात्पशुपतिः स्मृतः ॥१४॥

14. Because he always protects the living beings, and because he delights with them again, and because he is their lord, he is therefore remembered as Paśupati (Lord of living beings).
