लोकवृत्तान्ततत्त्वज्ञः पूतोऽहं गुरुशासनात् ।
कृत्वा बुद्धिं वियुक्तात्मा त्यक्ष्याम्यात्मानमव्यथः ॥४॥

4. lokavṛttāntatattvajñaḥ pūto'haṁ guruśāsanāt ,
kṛtvā buddhiṁ viyuktātmā tyakṣyāmyātmānamavyathaḥ.

Purified by the instruction of my teacher (guru), I am now a knower of the truth regarding worldly affairs. Having made my intellect (buddhi) detached, I, whose inner self (ātman) is unattached, will renounce myself (ātman) without suffering.
