धिक्कार्यं मा धिक्कुरुते तस्मात्त्वाहं प्रसादये ।
सर्वं हीदं स्वकृतं मे ज्वलाम्यग्नाविवाहितः ॥२॥

2. dhikkāryaṁ mā dhikkurute tasmāttvāhaṁ prasādaye ,
sarvaṁ hīdaṁ svakṛtaṁ me jvalāmyagnāvivāhitaḥ.

dhikkāryaṃ mā dhikkurute tasmāt tvā aham prasādaye
sarvaṃ hi idam svakṛtaṃ me jvalāmi agnau iva āhitaḥ

He (the sage) blames me, who am indeed worthy of blame. Therefore, I seek your favor. For all this (suffering) is verily my own doing; I burn as if placed in fire.
