ऋषय ऊचुः ।
अहो बतायं शकुनिर्विघसाशान्प्रशंसति ।
अस्मान्नूनमयं शास्ति वयं च विघसाशिनः ॥६॥

aho batāyaṁ śakunirvighasāśānpraśaṁsati ,
asmānnūnamayaṁ śāsti vayaṁ ca vighasāśinaḥ.

6. The sages said, "Oh, indeed this bird is praising those who subsist on leftovers! Surely, it is instructing us, for we too subsist on leftovers."
