महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-18, verse-19

ततो वागमरैरुक्ता ज्यां तस्य धनुषोऽच्छिनत् ।
अथ तत्सहसा राजंश्छिन्नज्यं विस्फुरद्धनुः ॥१९॥
19. tato vāgamarairuktā jyāṁ tasya dhanuṣo'cchinat ,
atha tatsahasā rājaṁśchinnajyaṁ visphuraddhanuḥ.
19. tataḥ vāk amaraiḥ uktā jyām tasya dhanuṣaḥ acchinat
atha tat sahasā rājan chinnajyam visphurat dhanuḥ
19. tataḥ amaraiḥ uktā vāk tasya dhanuṣaḥ jyām acchinat
atha rājan tat chinnajyam visphurat dhanuḥ sahasā
19. Then a voice, uttered by the immortals, cut the string of his bow. Thereupon, O king, that bow, its string severed, suddenly quivered.
