महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-18, verse-17

प्राद्रवन्त ततो देवा यज्ञाङ्गानि च सर्वशः ।
केचित्तत्रैव घूर्णन्तो गतासव इवाभवन् ॥१७॥
17. prādravanta tato devā yajñāṅgāni ca sarvaśaḥ ,
kecittatraiva ghūrṇanto gatāsava ivābhavan.

17. Then, the gods and all the components of the Vedic ritual (yajña) fled in every direction. Some, right there, reeled and became as if lifeless.
