वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवं ते समयं कृत्वा गङ्गया वसवः सह ।
जग्मुः प्रहृष्टमनसो यथासंकल्पमञ्जसा ॥२२॥

evaṁ te samayaṁ kṛtvā gaṅgayā vasavaḥ saha ,
jagmuḥ prahṛṣṭamanaso yathāsaṁkalpamañjasā.

22. Vaiśampāyana said: Having thus made an agreement with Gaṅgā, the Vasus, with joyful minds, departed swiftly according to their resolve.

22. אמר וַישַׁמְפָּאיַנַה, לאחר שהגיעו להסכם כזה עם גַנְגָה, הלכו הוַסוּ במהירות בלב שמח, כפי שתכננו.
