महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-8, verse-2

प्रमतिस्तु रुरुं नाम घृताच्यां समजीजनत् ।
रुरुः प्रमद्वरायां तु शुनकं समजीजनत् ॥२॥
2. pramatistu ruruṁ nāma ghṛtācyāṁ samajījanat ,
ruruḥ pramadvarāyāṁ tu śunakaṁ samajījanat.

ruruḥ pramadvrāyām tu śunakam samajījanat
2. Pramati, in turn, begot a son named Ruru through Ghṛtācī. And Ruru begot Śunaka through Pramadvarā.
