पितरं सखिभिः सोऽथ वाचयामास भार्गवः ।
प्रमतिश्चाभ्ययाच्छ्रुत्वा स्थूलकेशं यशस्विनम् ॥१२॥

12. pitaraṁ sakhibhiḥ so'tha vācayāmāsa bhārgavaḥ ,
pramatiścābhyayācchrutvā sthūlakeśaṁ yaśasvinam.

12. pitaram sakhibhiḥ saḥ atha vācayām āsa bhārgavaḥ
pramatiḥ ca abhyayāt śrutvā sthūlakeśam yaśasvinam

12. Then, Ruru, a descendant of Bhṛgu, had his friends speak to his father (about his wish). And Pramati, having heard this, approached the illustrious Sthūlakeśa.

12. אז ביקש צאצא בְּהְרְגוּ הזה מאביו, באמצעות חבריו, (לבקש את הילדה). ופְּרַמַטִי, כששמע, פנה אל סְטְהוּלַקֵשַׁה המהולל.
