महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-51, verse-22

अन्यं वरय भद्रं ते वरं द्विजवरोत्तम ।
अयाचत न चाप्यन्यं वरं स भृगुनन्दन ॥२२॥

22. anyaṁ varaya bhadraṁ te varaṁ dvijavarottama ,
ayācata na cāpyanyaṁ varaṁ sa bhṛgunandana.

ayācata na ca api anyam varam saḥ bhṛgunandanaḥ

22. “Choose another boon, O best of excellent Brahmins; may good fortune be yours!” Yet, that descendant of Bhṛgu did not ask for any other boon.

22. (אמר) בחר מתנה אחרת, שיהיה לך טוב, הו הטוב שבין מיטב הבְּרַהְמִינִים. אך הוא (אָאסְטִיקַה) לא ביקש שום מתנה אחרת, הו שַׁאוּנַקַה, צאצא בְּהְרְגוּ.
