महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-44, verse-10

पृष्टो मयापत्यहेतोः स महात्मा महातपाः ।
अस्तीत्युदरमुद्दिश्य ममेदं गतवांश्च सः ॥१०॥
10. pṛṣṭo mayāpatyahetoḥ sa mahātmā mahātapāḥ ,
astītyudaramuddiśya mamedaṁ gatavāṁśca saḥ.

asti iti udaram uddiśya mama idam gatavān ca saḥ
10. When I questioned that great-souled, highly ascetic sage about progeny, he, pointing to this belly of mine, said, 'It exists,' and then departed.
