महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-170, verse-20

न चैतन्नः प्रियं तात यदिदं कर्तुमिच्छसि ।
नियच्छेदं मनः पापात्सर्वलोकपराभवात् ॥२०॥
20. na caitannaḥ priyaṁ tāta yadidaṁ kartumicchasi ,
niyacchedaṁ manaḥ pāpātsarvalokaparābhavāt.
20. na ca etat naḥ priyam tāta yat idam kartum icchasi
niyaccha idam manaḥ pāpāt sarvalokaparābhavāt
20. And dear one, this action you wish to perform is not pleasing to us. Restrain this mind from sin and from the humiliation of all beings.
