महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-170, verse-8

अनेनैव च विख्यातो नाम्ना लोकेषु सत्तमः ।
स और्व इति विप्रर्षिरूरुं भित्त्वा व्यजायत ॥८॥
8. anenaiva ca vikhyāto nāmnā lokeṣu sattamaḥ ,
sa aurva iti viprarṣirūruṁ bhittvā vyajāyata.
8. anena eva ca vikhyātaḥ nāmnā lokeṣu sattamaḥ
saḥ aurva iti viprarṣiḥ ūrum bhittvā vyajāyata
8. And by this very act, he became well-known by the name "Aurva" among excellent people in the worlds. That sage (viprarṣi), having split the thigh, was born.
