महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-163, verse-17

ततस्तत्तादृशं दृष्ट्वा स एव भगवानृषिः ।
अभ्यपद्यत धर्मात्मा वसिष्ठो राजसत्तमम् ॥१७॥
17. tatastattādṛśaṁ dṛṣṭvā sa eva bhagavānṛṣiḥ ,
abhyapadyata dharmātmā vasiṣṭho rājasattamam.

17. Then, having witnessed such a state, that very revered sage Vasiṣṭha, who was righteous in spirit (dharmātmā), approached the best of kings.
