महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-163, verse-15

तस्य राज्ञः पुरे तस्मिन्समा द्वादश सर्वशः ।
न ववर्ष सहस्राक्षो राष्ट्रे चैवास्य सर्वशः ॥१५॥

15. tasya rājñaḥ pure tasminsamā dvādaśa sarvaśaḥ ,
na vavarṣa sahasrākṣo rāṣṭre caivāsya sarvaśaḥ.

15. tasya rājñaḥ pure tasmin samāḥ dvādaśa sarvaśaḥ na
vavarṣa sahasrākṣaḥ rāṣṭre ca eva asya sarvaśaḥ

15. For twelve whole years, the thousand-eyed Indra (sahasrākṣa) did not rain in that city of the king, nor indeed anywhere throughout his entire kingdom.

15. בעיר ההיא של המלך, ובכל ממלכתו בכל מקום, לא ירד גשם במשך שתים עשרה שנים מאת בעל אלף העיניים (אִינְדְרַה).
