योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-8

पूजयन्त्यागतं फुल्ला भृङ्गं पद्मा इवार्थिनम् ।
आवर्जयन्ति जनतां जनतापापहारिणः ॥ ८ ॥
pūjayantyāgataṃ phullā bhṛṅgaṃ padmā ivārthinam ,
āvarjayanti janatāṃ janatāpāpahāriṇaḥ 8
8. pūjayanti āgatam phullāḥ bhṛṅgam padmāḥ iva
arthinam āvarjayanti janatām janatāpāpahāriṇaḥ
8. (Yathā) phullāḥ padmāḥ arthinam āgatam bhṛṅgam iva pūjayanti,
(tathā) janatāpāpahāriṇaḥ janatām āvarjayanti.
8. Just as blooming lotuses honor a bee that has arrived as a petitioner, so too do the removers of people's sins attract the populace.
