योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-23

देशकालवशात्पापैर्महोत्पातोऽपि दृश्यते ।
सर्वकर्माणि संत्यज्य कुर्यात्सज्जनसंगमम् ।
एतत्कर्म निराबाधं लोकद्वितयसाधनम् ॥ २३ ॥

23. Great calamities, born of evil (karma), are observed depending on time and place. Therefore, abandoning all other actions (karma), one should cultivate the association of virtuous people. This particular action (karma) is unobstructed and leads to the attainment of both worlds.
