अथ तेषां ददर्शासौ व्योम्न्येव व्योमरूपिणाम् ।
संवित्प्राक्तनसंस्काराद्व्योमात्मावनिमण्डलम् ॥ ८ ॥
atha teṣāṃ dadarśāsau vyomnyeva vyomarūpiṇām ,
saṃvitprāktanasaṃskārādvyomātmāvanimaṇḍalam 8

8. Then, the Self (ātman) whose nature is space—the Sky-Self (vyomātmā)—through its consciousness (saṃvit) influenced by latent impressions (saṃskāras) from the past, perceived the terrestrial globe, even in the very sky where those (kings) whose forms had become like space resided.
