इति ते पञ्चतां प्राप्ता दिङ्मुखेष्वाकुलाशयाः ।
क्षये चतुर्षु चत्वारो भूपाला लोकपालवत् ॥ ७ ॥

7. Thus, those four kings, their minds bewildered, met their demise, scattered in the four directions as if dissolving into the five elements. They were like the world-guardians (lokapālas) at the time of universal dissolution.
