तथैवेदं च संजातं यदि सर्वमसन्मयम् ।
तदस्माकं दृढतरः प्रत्ययः कथमुत्थितः ॥ २ ॥

And if this entire universe has come into being in such a way, consisting of unreality (asat), then how has such a firm conviction (pratyaya) arisen for us?
