योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-34, verse-8

छिद्यते शीर्णसंसारकलना कल्पनात्मिका ।
भृष्टबीजोपमा सत्ता जीवस्य इतिनामिका ॥ ८ ॥
chidyate śīrṇasaṃsārakalanā kalpanātmikā ,
bhṛṣṭabījopamā sattā jīvasya itināmikā 8

8. The withered, imaginary conception of the cycle of rebirth (saṃsāra) is severed. The existence (sattā) of the individual soul (jīva), which is thus designated, becomes like a roasted seed (bhṛṣṭabīja).
