एतत्ते मनसि क्षीणे प्रथमं कथितं पदम् ।

This first state has been described to you, which is attained when the mind (manas) has dwindled. Now, O chief of Brahmins (viprendra), listen to the second, highly purifying state of this divine power (śakti).
