yuṣmadvidhāḥ tribhuvana-prabhu-pūjya-rūpāḥ udāra-dhiyaḥ mahāntaḥ yam ākarṇayanti tena prakathitena aśubham vināśam eti,

23.
Great and noble-minded ones, such as yourself (yuṣmadvidhāḥ), whose forms are revered by the lords of the three worlds, listen intently to this (story). By its narration (prakathitena), misfortune (aśubham) is dispelled, just as the heat of the sun (arkatāpaḥ) is extinguished by the power residing in the clouds (meghāspadena vibhaven).
